So what do you use? When we go away, the 110 is full of gear, so the current big dog is in a basket and clipped to the seat belt in the space where 2 of the second row seats were. (I take them out for the hols as there are only 3 of us)

We now have another dog, who will be big soon, leaving me with very little load carrying space if they both go in the back. The wheel arches in the back prevent use of the full width for cages, I suppose a platform is possible, but space underneath would not be enough for tents, kitchen sinks etc

What do you use in yours? Or is it time for a trailer?

I understand where you are coming from and I only have two springers. Would a roof box help do you think? For the luggage not the dogs!

Site is right at the back and load fender from the middle doors? The dog box locks so you can leave them locked in the car with back door open and rest of car locked.
