Hi I am trying to test fit these parts but nothing is lining up, am I doing anything wrong

you probably are or have but the pics dont show enough , does the floor panel just need pulling over ?

I had this problem when I removed my floor. It's as if the car grew a few millimetres whilst my back was turned. I just put it back with whatever fasteners did line up (less than half of them). It will probably be different again next time I take it out. I just accept it as part of Compo's character, he likes to play little tricks on me.

Start a couple of the fasteners then use a tapered punch/rod/screwdriver to force the other holes inline.
