Oooooh...er! Any details?

long story involving the U.S Navy, a red phone box, a pimp and loads of oriental hookers, going underground by the jam, strobe lighting, a pint of whiskey, a disgruntled DJ, a womans bathing suit and an innocently caught dose of the crabs, just a quiet night out really

I've got Truffles, cos the last 3 letters are TFL, One before was Peejay cos the last 3 were PYJ and the one before that was Dusty cos my daughter was young and only learning to speak, she couldn't say Discovery and it always came out as Dusty!!

Hello everyone :)

As a newly registered member, and young driver in the process of obtaining my driving licence, I would like to personally thank each member of this well-knitted community, which has helped me greatly consider the choice of a Land Rover Defender 90/110 as my first car purchase.
I am very eager to set off the desert off-roads, and to discover the world through the windshield of such a mighty good vehicle.
I am very happy to be part of this wonderful brother/sisterhood, and will not fail to cherish the protector's reputation of the Defender.

Now, to answer this topic, I must say upon quite a few reflection, I have settled for a familiar name of " Maggie " and a more formal name of " Margaret" in reference to the Iron Lady, that symbolizes England's finest industrial and political measures decisioner, Margaret Thatcher.
As a full Name, " Margaret the Iron Lady " will also emphasize a part of the driver's persona that I think of becoming, that of an iron hand in a velvet glove.

"Her" names change depending on the off road situation we're in! Thing's like "come on Bettsy" to "Good old girl" And when broken.... well they can't be mentioned, apart for being called a "fatherless one" lol

I like the cut of your jib....but...I would hold on that. We had decided on 'The Beast' as the name for our Landy...but when she finally came into our lives, she was having none of it. Wait until you get your gorgeous machine and listen to the vibes. The name will come to you.

Esm xx

Our 90 is called Nobby. Just because that is what my girls came up with due to knobbly tyres and the last three letters of the number plate. It fits though.
