My Mate is an MOT tester, he owns the garage, he has the very latest approved ramp for MOT but will not put a landrover on the rollers.
Won't put the newer ones either.
His statement too many expensive clever bits on them that could throw their toys out of the pram and throw up an expensive fault which he would be liable for.
As for older landy's might break something, think it can have an odd effect on the drivetrain he has always road tested them and i am happy that he does so.
Last time he picked something up while driving it that was nowt to do with MOT.
Told me to check it and he was as ever on the money.
