a pecialist in ripping people off mate. think he breaks and repairs. bought a car off him a few months ago and all is not good!

sorry to hear it mate, there are umpteen dodgy mechanics and garages and I have to say I have experienced more in the landrover world than any other.

I have given up on them all now and do all the work on my landy myself!

good luck to ya mate.kinda my faULT but still not impressed. just want a business name for him cos hes not reigistered on ebay no more. just like my engine is no more :frusty:

thats a bummer , good luck in your search. we should set up an anonymous name an shame webiste for all car people really and finally rid the planet of these rip off merchants!

Think your quest will be a bit more credible if you give some details, make, model, age, milage, price paid, how long since deal done, what's gone wrong etc.

Paid 3500 for a 2000 vogue with gas conversion 6 months ago. Bought of a trader on ebay who had 100% feedback.. Stupidly i never viewed the car as i couldnt get down there. So phoned him and he assured me car was absolutly mint and sailed through recent mot, so i agreed the price with him. Anyway when i was due to pick thr car up i couldnt get a lift down so he said he would deliver it in the week for me.

Great i thought!

After letting me down twice it finally got delivered by 2 lads who worked for him. This is where probs really started. Cars condition was not as good as he said, a few rust scabs some dodgy paint work. Anyway my fault i thought i should have viewed it ;( then the guys said they didnt have the paperwork but would post it up along with the spare key!

Well after countless phone calls and promises the history and mot log book etc never came!
Then they just stopped answering phone and now its not in use anymore.

Applied for log book and got it through.... Checked mot history and was shocked as the most recent one had a fail sheet and an advisory sheet as long as my arm.... And im 6ft 3! Including advising engine was running rough, which to be fair i didnt notice it was untill last week! So basically ive been done and im not happy

p.s this is guys name zdzislaw goloszewski. calls himself drew. based at turkey fields farm in strelley notts/

thats quite the name, sorry youve been done

at least your warning will be on here now.

have you got any come back through ebay?

no cos i only paid deposit through paypal and he ended the item once i paid it
although he is still selling other cars on there using a different name.

yeah its often the way, always a gamble - even if you do view it.

trading standards is worth talking to

yep. gonna try the long drawn out processm of consumer protection. see if they can help get some of my money back

or go and see him with a car full of your biggest mates.

I went alone once to sort out a mechanic who had fooked up a job back when I first got my first range rover, got £200 of £500 back - not bad but could have been better if the odds were in my favour me thanks :D

ahh the old e30 325i , I had 3 of those culminating in a southafrican import with the best sump guard I have seen on any car ever including all 4x4's and landys! :D

This one used to be owned and raced by our local gsf car parts branch it had certificates for best handling in class at silverstone and several others along with a couple of a magazine features it was a bit of a beast and was only doing about 9mpg so i was glad it broke really
