4x4 Store

Or there is always the 'other' way:eek:

If yer dun't git yerself a deep 52mm socket ('spensive) or a hub nut box spanner like in Buster's link now, you'll use 'the uvva way' every time you have to nip up a bearing or any uvva job like the one you've got to do now.

You'll then be the proud owner of four fecked up hub nuts. ;)

Thought id give you guys an update.

He has pulled the halfshaft out on the passengers side. All come out fine and looked fine.

He got to the drivers side and the joint on the halfshaft fell out in his hand and the long part of the shaft is stuck in the axel. Looks like it has snapped clean in half! Anyone got any tips for getting the remainder of the halfshaft out? Or even why it would be stuck?

Magnet usually does it. try rocking the vehicle lightly while extracting it.
