I was visiting a friend earlier today and he said I looked like my Land Rover. Apparently, according to him, this tendency has been getting more pronounced over the past couple of years.

Does anyone else look like their Land Rover?

LOL....mines had a roof transplant (in part)
where I`ve got the need for a new covering ;)
mines got quite good underpinings
where mines not so good with a leg ulcer for 3 weeks now.
mine always starts in the first go
while it takes a bit of time for me to belong with the living :D
mines still black and shiny
while I....................................wont go there
mines so dam reliable and refuses to give in,
errrr, YES, Its true, I AM like my landy.......
old but quite reliable.......
fingers crossed and I hope to die if I`m wrong....errrrrrrrr

Mines reliable (fingers are crossed) mature, dependable, full of character .........its also a bit slow at times and needy, so in some ways maybe similar characteristics :)

Mine has a problem with its exhaust....
Starts off the button even after long periods of inactivity....
Not overly heavy on fuel, but can put it away if pushed....

Yep, just like me then!

Mine creeks and groans and dont sit right
Its old and battered, dont breath right and drinks to much.
And something leaks out of it most mornings :)

I'd like to look like my '87 RRC - stylish, purposeful, timeless design with a certain je-ne-sais-quoi
Sadly it also costs & drinks too much, which is a more accurate comparison to it's owner!

Well it depends which one,

The 90 is proud, mighty and has a few battle scars. Tidy's up well for occasions.

The v8 disco, despite having it for less than a week, is monstrously loud, temperamental and worrying. But it sounds nice. usually.

Mines old but still smart when out
Young at heart with its 200tdi
Unusual, also reliable
Cheap to run
But will never be perfect

I've had a bit of a spray round with the Dinitrol this afternoon, so I'm looking even more like the Land Rover than ever.
