Just traveled form north to south Wales for this beaut...

But is it me or are those axles narrow?

It is a proper 'bitsa'
It's a series 3 ex RAF...
Series 2 engine
Series 2 gearbox
Series 2 tail gate...
Truck cab with a spare van top...

It's basically a bucket of parts at the moment 🤣
The wings and grille are s3, the bonnet s2 :)

Front axle doesn't look too abnormal to me.
Rear axle definitely appears to be too narrow.
Could it be from a late Series One ?
I've never really been into S1 (I'm too tight fisted) but I think I recall some of them had floating half shafts, possibly the 109"

Actually just looked at the pictures again, and the front axle looks excessively narrow too.
Series One axles ??
Unfortunately not worth the amazing prices of some S1 stuff

The rear axle is series 2 2a or 3 if there is no filler plug in the diff housing itself. If front is same whith then it is as well. Likely skinny wheels that make it look narrow. Pretty sure 109 series one were/are on the same axles as the series 2. The only real change was the body shape with the two.
