I'm looking for a new vehicle to replace our aging Audi A3.

It needs to be a part-time van to cart my tools, materials & other rubbish (hence the need for rear seats to fold flat).

At other times it will be used as a taxi for our twin toddlers.

We've got £5000 to spend but I don't know the model range, so any guidance would be useful.

Thanks.

Rob

the 200/300 series seats fold flatter and closer to side of the Disco, but are side facing which I beleive children under a certain age cannot now use BY LAW, and the TD5 Disco rear seats are similar but are bulkier. However these seats open up and are forward facing with drop down headrests from the roof.

hope this helps

rob, in answer to your question, yes the second row fold double, ie; the back rest folds down, then the seat base folds up removing the seat from the load space making the rear section very van like hope this helps ;)
