To the OP (who I don't know at all) all I would say is do what makes you happy and feel good.
You let her go for very good sensible reasons and those reasons no longer apply.
If you are working your arse off to provide for your family, a bit of selfish expenditure on what you would dearly love is not really amiss.
Do it!

7 years ago I sold my 86 reg rrc because we were skint we now have 2 V.successful indoor market stalls and 2 shops all selling our homemade food products and now own ..fiesta courier van\fiat seicento \smart fortwo\ape three wheeler van\1967 Rover p6 for resto\101 forward control all in the Algarve just through selling the classic, sounds like you did the same to grow your business, what am I buying next...

My rrc that's sat untouched in a field for 7 years..
Go for it ..if your thinking about it you can afford it your obviously not a dreamer!!

Paul, I don't know why you need to ask!:rolleyes:
You know you want her, and even if you only get to play occasionally, it will be worth it :p:p
Now get your number off the post, or I might just be tempted to ring you at 2am and let you listen to the dogs snoring! ;);)
Great to hear that your business is going well :D:D

Ahh you're all speaking to my heart!

Had a good look at her today and she is looking worse for wear up close!

There is going to be some serious work involved which is strip to chassis and work our way back up, fortunately i have room for a rolling chassis!

Given what was being asked, the price isn't so tempting now, so i shall endevor to haggle abit on that and let you all know.

Here's a few pics...

If you want it, offer him half of his asking price and negotiate from there. If he drops his price without much fuss you are probably buying trouble.

Or spend a little more on a better one?
When you've lost your baby then found her again, you would let her go in favour of a 'better, newer model'??
You obviously haven't been around Landy Spannering long enough!!
I can't wait until she goes back home again, and is being lovingly restored!
