Hi
Recently bought a series 3 swb, wondering if a defender truck cab and windscreen are an easy swap. defender windscreen would appear taller and so give better vision.

the windscreen hinge brackets on the bulkhead are different between defender and series so youd have to swap yours for defender ones and i think on a defender theyre bolted through the bulkhead whereas theyre welded on with the series but the rest should be easy once youve got over this hurdle

can you use your series windscreen insted of the fender one then

Nope they are a different shape ....the defender one protrudes further up into the roof section ...hence them being taller and better vision .

Thanks , been away so not able to reply.
So if i sort out the hinge bracket the rest of a defender cab will fit.

Not hard to fix the roof if you want to spend a kings ransom
