Was gonna be something black n orange themed. Not sure yet tho. see what i come up with. It wont be anything special be assured
You need to make sure the surface is solid, by that i mean it isnt flaking or peeling off. I just sanded it with 400 grit, until the surface looks dull with hundreds of tiny scratches.Awesome. I look forward to your pictures.
Is it required to sand back to almost bare metal or just quick prep to make a surface which is usable?
Need to get my photoshop (lack of) skills on the go and come up with some graphics for it.
I first started off with a grinder but found that it was too harsh so i ended up doing it all by hand, though that only took me about a day to sand the whole thing. The worst part if your doing it outside is the weather, it will either make or break your paintjob so make sure you check the forecast first!!:doh:I guess an orbital sander will be the easiest for that. Perhaps do a side at a time and a few coats.
Damn thing is to big to fit in my garage tho (to tall) so gonna have to be done ont he road.
The pink one could be good for a laugh tho
