Good afternoon guys n gals.

Here is a photo of some mats i made today from front door mats.

Came out well and cost £20 to do the pair.

A bit thick for the drivers footwell? I have taken all the mats out of mine as well, I think the green paint looks better and the water is easily mopped up or runs out under the doors :)

Thick?

The drivers side fits fine and it has added a bit of sound deadening to.

Nice. Great survival aid - after a week or so you can wring them out and drink the water they'll soak up.;)

Yes, I found wearing wellies and the thick rubber foam backed floor mats, made it awkward for me with the pedals. I prefer bare metal floors.

I think sofasurfer means to thick as in can effect the throttle travel.

I found the clutch more of a problem. (never get accelerator down there. Far too noisy!!! )
Wee gear crunch went when I cut the front half off my homemade sound deadening.
