have searched and searched but cannot find any info or photo showing diy extended arches. can anyone help? like the QT ones but not so expensive!
 
I have seen it done on a toyota with some black plastic/vinyl cut to shape and the edges tidy'd up with some plastic trim. it then bends to the curviature

To fit the Defender arches you would need to remove the existing spats and fix to body, This would leave some big Santana style arches.

The materials were all bought off Ebay so im told.
 
I made mine from lorry mudguards on ebay, cost £30 and half a days work with a heat gun, pop rivets and a tube of sikaflex. They are 5 inches outside the bodywork and look pretty good.

can anybody help as i am also looking to fit extended wheel arches:confused::confused:

in the past i have also fitted these so called flexiable arches and on contact with the 1st tree they break so any pictures of DIY arches would be a great help:D:D:D:D

i have seen ones made by Flatdog but they to are expensive:eek::eek::eek:

the ones from QT look good so if anyone has had them fitted, can they leave feed back if they would work:D:D
