Looking at the pic where the spring is hitting the cone, could you try cutting/chamfering that side of the cone away, so the spring has nowhere to go but up? I doubt it'd need much ...
did think about that, but just gonna get the right cones as they dislocate a lot

that looks sweet!

Would you mind PM'ing me your set up? I'm starting to buy bits and pieces and kinda assumed that you'd already have cranked trailing arms/wide angle props etc... If I can run +2" springs and +5" shocks with a fairly standard set up I think i'll get springs n shocks on first then get all the other gubbins as I go instead of trying to buy it all in advance.

Yours is a 300TDi is it not?? I have got a brand new radiator and hoses, done about 200 miles, I have also got the 200tdi rear prop and conversion flange if needed, helps with that extra articulation. I did have some cranked arms but I have fitted them to my 90 now so not anymore...

EDIT - just looked at your pics again and see its a 200:rolleyes:

mr jon... if wlm doesn't want your prop/flange can you PM me please :)

pre-warning: might ask a few stoopid questions about it when as well if its available :D
