This won't come of a surprise to you guys, but I've just seen an interesting video of a Disco 1 towing an artic lorry in the snow.

Dunno why, but I find things like this interesting. :p

On a separate note, would a Freelander TD4 have any chance of pulling that off? :p

My housemate (a stock Nissan Navara owner) is giving me grief for buying a Landy...this ought to shut him up for a while! :p

Why would he give you grief? I thought their reputation for being a "Go anywhere, do anything" vehicle was pretty well known? I'm rather surprised to hear that lol. You need to put him in his place. I can't talk much, because I drive a Freelander, but there's no reason why you can't shut him up!

His Navara would make an excellent seesaw though! Just drive it over a mound, and he's sorted! :D

The motorway police were known for dragging artics around with their Range Rover Classics too, when clearing up motorway "incidents".

Honestly, and im not just saying this, but no, even the wagon driver was shocked how easy it did it, did another earlier that morning up a hill...... Scottish driver promised me a bottle of scotch finest..... still never got it lol
 
yup RobinT & a slitty driver towed a jackknifed artic out of the poo last lot of snow we had. earlier this year.
