Ive been checking Bearmach . they claim the print out catalogue(list of what it will do etc) info has NOT been upgraded on the web site but say on l322&320 it will now reset service milage and a few other things now it has the 4 upgrade, one advatage is its not set to one vin number only to each model .ie you need extra adaptors to do other landrover models in addition to the one you buy it for.If you buy for L322 it will do any L322 if your mate has a 320 then you only need the adaptor for it ,etc but it will then do ANY L322 or 320 or any other LR you buy the adaptor for.A chance you could earn with this one .I've not got info yet at what the 4 upgrades are yet ,,anybody elsegot that ?

Hi Guys,

I bought a Hawkeye a few months ago, and it saved my bacon today.

When I first got it I used it to sort out all the annoying settings of door-locking and lights, and that was great.

I have been told to send it back to Bearmach for a free ugrade to v.4.
I will do that very soon.

The problem happened yesterday.

Drove Disco A (I have two TD5s) to town and back 50 miles round trip, no problem.
Parked in the yard here, and locked it by the key fob. Two hours later, the keyfob would not UNLOCK the car, and when I opened the door using the key in the lock the alarm went off and the engine was immobilised. I got out the second key, and it was no better.

I tried the two correct keys on Disco B, and found the remote unlocking didn't work.
BOTH Discos had been fine up till that moment.

Today, after failed attempts to use EKA to get in (wrong code seems likely) we went into the car with the alarm blaring and used Hawkeye on it, and went through all the Security items and turned them OFF. The alarm stopped, and the immobiliser we de-activated. Now I can start the engine and drive my car.

Hawkeye says one key (the one I used mostly) is not programmed to match the car, but I don't have a bar code for it. That key still starts the engine.

Electronics?

If you can get your hands on a Nanocom you don't need the bar code.

ere Charlesy - on an aside - wot happened about your ropes?

GUILT ....

I have over 100 of them in a big tote-bag right now, and ready to put on a pallet. I have the pallet too. It's more or less all ready to send ....

The problem is WEIGHT. It's a hefty load, best part of a quarter of a ton I suppose.
I don't know anyone who can collect a pallet and deliver it to Orwell Royston Herts SG8 5--.

Suggestions?
