Having difficulty selecting 1st when stationary engine running or stopped
It does slip in easily if motor is rolling slowly
Ok box has done 245000
Clutch 200000
Slave and master cylinder about 20000
You never get grinding just don’t like going in gear
I don’t suspect a clutch problem
Any ideas

Hi, Might be worth taking the gear lever gater etc off and checking the bias plate hasn't broke.

what about reverse and 2nd

2nd is fine reverse can be a problem though
Guy just sat in it said clutch was fine and also could not fault the gearbox said maybe a bit sloppy but nothing to worry about what do you want 243000 miles
But what ever getting in 1st at a junction can be a bitch
If I delve in and the bias plate has broken will I be left stranded?
