Hello, can anyone please tell me roughly the cost of replacing the sills on my Disco as the outers are rotten ,thanks.:(

Depends on how extensive it is; whether they patch over the sills or chop out & replace, whether they opnly do the outers or inners too, how much of the door pillars need to be chopped out or patched, how much of the rear wheel arch is gone, and then theres the floor around the sills, and the footwells, becouse once you start strippig back, you find more and more rot to deal with.
Just had my Rangie done, and done 'proppa'; cut the sills out completely and replaced with 3mm box section; then the floor around it plated, including the footewells, and a few patched to the door pillars.
Including the metal, a tad over £300.
If you get skimpy with patch plating, can be done for less, but of you start that way and find more and more that needs doing, pretty soon becomes more ecconomical to bit the bullet and chop it all away and redo.
If the rear wheel-arches need doing, up to and around teh rear seat belt anchorages, add another £150, and if that is so extensive you need to replace the boot floor as well.... its a scrapper, as that is probably another £200 worth.
Doing a whole Rangie or Disco in all the notoriouse rot-stops, is roughly a grands worth of work, by a proficient and friendly welder.
Others will do it cheaper.... but you tend to get what you pay for when it comes to welding, and cheap jobs are usually made so by taking a lot of short-cuts, that too often need re-doing only too soon.

Helllo, had sills cut off and done with box, door pillar repaired and nearside floot well patched up,200 quid. These sills are going to last longer than the car !! Thanks for your advice.
