He'd have been sat there until the police came and I'd have made sure my car was looked at by the insurance too if it was me.

Fair play, dont know why but I get this all the time, My old disco will not do 0-60 under 30mins. but they try to push me along. I know it wont be long until something like this happens to me. the only saving grace will be the only thing hurt will be his no claims has it will be a non fault TP Claim, full recovery.

Technically speaking you malisciously caused a road traffic accident. If he reports as such....

Stop talking ****, you making yourself look like a c**t again :p

How the fck can it be the disco driver fault ?? He didn't crash the daft tit behind him did

Sometimes all feel that way but think boasting bout it is unwise. S'all am sayin

Yup, because in this country we have so many spare policemen / women we don't know what to do with them, so, we get them to trawl through all the online car forums (and other forums) looking for people who have admitted doing an illegal act, then go and get a warrant to get the admin of the site to hand over all the details on that user, in the hope that they may actually have something which will identify them in the real world, then go round and arrest the person so they will eventually end up in our empty courts and be given a slap on the wrists.

I have a sneaky idea that it might be done automatically, by trolling for certain words or key phrases - lets face it - I cant see Google doing searches by hand - can you?

How many times have you been tempted to slam the brakes on when some1 is tailgating you?I get tempted a lot and often slam brakes on to warn them off, once stopped car completley and blocked road so he cudnt pass and jumped out and scared the living **** out of him. Because there's nothing more I hate than tailgating, in a rush and putting my familys life in danger. Tell ya what the **** who I stopped was so close up my arse I cudnt see the headlights. Never seen sum1 lock there doors so quick lol. N how the hell are insurance gunna link this man on this forum with the accident?? Not a prair n I think some people are a little paranoid

Totally agree, I often touch the brakes to scare people off, absolutely detest tailgating, downright dangerous and ignorant!

You are completely wrong.

For a start, if you crash into the rear of another car you are at fault regardless of circumstance.

Second, he's not boasting about it. He's highlighting an event that happened, and the other driver was at fault, the op did nothing to bring on the accident.

I resent that.

If you could afford one you might have a different opinion.

I can afford one and on multiple occassions have considered getting one for the sole purpose of smashing it to bits in front of as many BMW lovers as possible for my own personal ammusement

(I also thought i could charge a small fee to let other people join in... i'd bet i'd pay for the car 10 times over)

Bob-on with that thought MHM,
GCHQ (MI5 / MI6 ) 'listen' in on millions of phonecalls / e-mails / sms messages etc every week.
Certain 'key' words trigger the automation to alert a human to become involved.
I have unwittingly 'direct experience' of this happening... and the scale of how quickly this escalated in what was in reality a very innocent situation was extremely surprising.

b' its a story worth listening to ;).

Don't forget that the very act of being involved in an accident, regardless of fault, will taint your driving record (and therefore insurance renewal costs) for years afterwards.

Insurance companies really don't play fair.

I was in a hire car some time ago, stationary in a traffic jam when some stupid *(&^%$ crashed into the car behind me, pushing it into me and pushing me into the car in front (all of us with our brakes on.).

All the stupid bint had to say about it was 'Oops. I did exactly the same thing last week - this is courtesy car'. 5 years of loaded premiums I had to cough up because of that and my only connection with the whole incident was that I was physically there.
