Hi StickyBackBob,
The link no longer works and I was wondering of you could send me any information that you have on the rear window problem direct. I hear there is a common "dry contact fault" but that is all I know at the moment.
Cheers
Marcus
Looks like there site is down on that page

All other info is working...
Right Basically.
Remove your glove box on a Discovery
You will find the modual tucked up behind the glovebox
Carefully unplug the modual and then remove.
Open the modual up and remove the circuit board.
Look at the back of the board (Soldered side)
And you hopefully will see one of the soldered joint slightly burn and the leg of the relay has become detached from the solder.
Resolder the leg and while you are at it check all the other joints (I soldered all of them for piece of mind)
Replace board back into case and then plug back in.
If you dont know which modual it is then hold on to it and operate the front windows, you should feel a clunk as the relays inside energise.
Good Luck, I will try and find my pictures out at home later of the board and the joint that is the common fault.
(NOT SURE IF THIS IS IN THE SAME POSITION ON A RANGY)
