jai_landrover Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2008 #2 Not 100% sure, although paddocks list them as different items, so I would think they are different. Defender up to end of 200tdi 1992 = NTC9070, Disco 200tdi = NTC8288 Unless yours is a conversion from a disco engine into a early defender.

Like this: http://zebra-parts.co.uk/shop/images/lr/anr2003.jpg I was wondering if it makes any difference because the mounting points on each engine look the same.

Patman1200 Active Member Oct 10, 2008 #4 When I swapped a Disco 200 into my 110 u used all the Disco pipework into the 110 steering box with no problems, so the pipes are interchangable. I've not removed the Disco PAS box yet but I will be keeping that for a spare.
