Give NFU a try, like sureterm they are switched on to Land Rovers and understand indirvidual requirements and know the difference between a 200tdi 300tdi and a Td5, not like some insurance companies I've spoke to!!

Just had a quote from Mr Pickles.......................£156.25 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Think I will be changing, only problems is I got to get some mods done now...well the snorkel and the breathers where going to be done in the next month or two anyway, but will have to order them tonight....:D:D:D or I cant have the insurance.

It also includes off road. 7000 mile, and a second driver is £14 extra.

thought i would try that lancaster insurance out, omg, £1308 and im 45 years young with 13 years no claims, me thinks they can stick it.
 
Just goes to show what a lottery it is,Frank Pickles weren't interested in me because it was not modded,and would not cover road use only-Sureteam,wanted over 300 quid-Lancaster for me were the cheapest of the lot-I wonder if it just depends on when you fire the quote in
 
Tried all of the above and cheapest was £450 and dearest was over £600. This for a 01 TD5. I,m the thick end of 40 and 3yrs no claims and never made a dishonest claim in my life . These rip off b-----ds are makin us cover there losses from Gadgies and Eastern European f----rs rippin them off.
 
just got a quote for my 2001 def 90 td5.
fully comp,100 excess, legal cover and third party injury cover off road.
cannot use my no claims . 3000miles a year. ( need to let them know if it goes over )

will snatch the feckers arm off on renewal date.

With the money I saved, ordered a Snorkel, and getting a wading kit, better not go too mad.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Ended up with £156.25, Fully Comp with no NCD as its my second car.
£50 Excess
Off Road cover
Legal Insurance
7000 miles
And Mod'ed

Any changes just let them know
