dash board repeater does not flash when indicators working striped dash out lamp ok no feed in on green cable any help

My warning light on the dash doesn't work, it's a problem with the flasher unit but the indicators work fine.

If you can hear the flasher unit working it will pass the mot.

That reminds me, my oil pressure light doesnt work :eek:

I imagine there is an output from the relay that goes to the dash light.

The indicator relay has two circuits one for the external lamps and one for the dash lamp, thats the one that has failed just get a replacement relay.

And wrong info in above post "The drivers 'tell-tale' missing or inoperative is a reasion for rejection" copied from the MOT testers manual.

But if you can hear the flasher that is classed as a warning

How do you think blind drivers know their indicators are on  :D

Visual warning for indicators for MOT, but funnily enough can have an audibale warning for trailer indicators. Perhaps def peeps arnt aloud to tow trailers.
