hi there
i have a 92/93 200tdi discovery
excuse my limited knowledge, but is the only difference between an 1990 disco diff and mine a 92/93 is that mine has 24 splined unit as opposed to a 10 splined unit????

dont forget the rubber donut !!!

but yes you can use 10 spline, you would also need to change the shafts

Do you mean because the stub axles are Longer on 10 spline, or because they have the built in drive member?

they took about 10 mm off hub and so stub axle to make ali wheels fit easier

Right thanks, good info again from you!!

I noticed there was a difference once when I had to fit a 300 swivel to my car in an emergency. Had to use the 300 swivel but my stub and hub.

I've heard that people prefer the longer stub axle because there is more space between bearings - so less leverage/wear when fitting low offset wheels.
