After having the screen wash fluid topped up, the single push wash wipe would not work, re-closing the bonnet allowed it to work, 10min later it wasn't working any more. I removed and cleaned the micro switch, which didn't have any affect. All the fuses look ok so am a bit stuck. Using the wiper via the main speed, high speed and delay switch is ok ???. I believe the reservoir access is a painful choice, removing the front bumper etc. Has anybody got an simpler suggestions.

So the washer doesnt work at all now?
which micro switch?
Sorry guys, false alarm......it was all a senior moment, I was having a suspension check / confirmation re lower arm bushes and the guy topped the wash fluid at the same time as I had bought a bottle while waiting. After it didn't work he thought he hadn't closed the bonnet properly hence not working , when it didn't work again I cleaned the micro switch attached to the bonnet catch (alarm etc arming). I now have to admit to using the wrong switch ................push button on indicator switch, instead of pulling forward the light control switch; so it all works fine. Feeling slightly stupid. I did read somewhere that they won't work unless the bonnet is closed properly and that set me hunting, clearly NOT a mechanic. Thanks for taking time to respond Sierrafery.
