Good Evening All,
I have a bit if a head scratcher for this one in that coming home the other day, the vent (AirCon was off) just stopped blowing but all remained lit on the controls, a few seconds later a slight smell of burning could be smelt. Turned off the vents and the smell stopped and all was good, though never would work again until I found the culprit, a blown Fuseable link.
As soon as this was replaced life to the vents worked, but of course this did not find the problem what caused it to blow in the first place. Just by chance I left the new fuseable link in, and with normal use after a couple of months it went again, but with no smell this time.
Done some internet searching but not seen any common issues such as this. I have since removed the vent controls (while doing the radio button fix), looked and smelt around and all appears normal. Just wondering if anyone can think of what to check next, was thinking the motor fan itself.
Many thanks
