checked today on computer and said height sensor was faulty compresser is faulty and 2 egr valves faulty

ouch , there goes at least £1,000, or more if the garage are doing it

u can blank the egr but as ur is 2007 u need a software patch, which i think is around £250 quid

did they give u the fault codes by any chance

also did they find out what the grind was at the front wheel

no he didnt he said height sensor was faulty and something about compresser giving out 5 volts

ref the compressor ,, will have a search and find out what the voltage should be going to the compressor

just for my peace of mind to ensure what ur being told is 100% correct

u should have fault codes

if u don't get the correct voltage to the compressor it points to bad connections behind the front passenger side wheel arch, behind the inner wheel arch trim

let me find them voltages for u and will post them her for u

plus assume he checked all the fuses and relay

just looked

check fuses , if u haven't already

F3 - 5 Amp
F26 - 20 Amp

FL10- fusible link 60 Amp

As mentioned if all ok, put a 12 vdc direct supply to the compressor and that will 100% tell u if it's at fault or not

saving u in trying to trace wires , removing panels etc , if the compressor is at fault

plus almost forgot

make sure the oil pump casing has been changed , as they do break and cause a lot of damage
