Assuming it is well maintained and you stick to a steady 60/65 you should get 26/28mpg at 94p per ltr that's about £4.20 per gall So about 15p per mile. you may get upto 30mpg but only if your ultra careful. This would be a good time to fill the tank to the top and when you get back refill it Then you'll know exactly how many miles it's getting to the gallon.

George, If ur concerned about fuel economy, or the costs of a long trip, just follow a lorry or bus on the motorway. They sit at a steady speed and creat a huge slip stream to sit in.
Long distance coaches are best cos they go a little faster, but you will notice a huge difference in the amount of fuel you dont use
