Yes...and all fixed now, so something simple after all.So have you tried all the suggested things?
while you are doing the same without telling what was the simple fix. Also BrilliantFFS...would have been helpful if he'd have reciprocated the advise he was give with an update. Brilliant!

No its not the main reason.Irritating isn't it................
Maybe a forum rule to say it's mandatory not post fixes or ya get banned. It is after all the main reason we come in here to learn and share isn't it??
So, just to practice what I preach, it was nothing more than a frayed wire to the starter. Crimped with new spade connector, job done.
Everydays a schoolday.....I've just read the forum rules and I now understand the single most common reason people come into this particular forum. I didn't realise that it would be so obvious and yet completely different from any other forum I have used.
Well i have never really been able to find them, all I could find is this....I've just read the forum rules and I now understand the single most common reason people come into this particular forum. If anyone asked me why peeps come on to this forum i would have said exactly the same as you did.....

To be part of something. This isn't a "mechanical" forum, its a landy forum. You dont have to fix one to be here, its not required to own one to be here, you are certainly not allowed to sell one without being part of the community. And thats before we get into the unwritten rules....Well that was my quandary too - hence the Tongue and Cheek reply! I have only ever used mechanical forums for swapping help and advice and found all of them to date to be a friendly bunch of peeps happy to share experience and information - I agree, I can't think of another reason top use them. Maybe someone else can enlighten both of us?
Never really thought about it like that, but yes that is true. I used to go on here just for help with my Landies but now I go on primarily for the craic. To be part of something.
