From another thread on someone with a faintly similar problem, could it be the temp sensor?
And cleaning the MAP/IAT sensor won't help if it's fubar. Been there, done that.
The idle setting stuff is hardwired into the ecu, so having changed it, and still having the problem it really doesn't sound like it lies there.
Good luck mate!

Hi I haven’t changed the idle settings, as you said they are hardwired, temp sensor works fine and so does the MAP

Are yo sure that you adjusted the injector clearances correctly ?
All adjusted correctly, it was working perfectly before! I’ve also taken the injectors out and cleaned them with an ultrasonic cleaner and then reset set the clearances and the first day that ran even better

As long as those codes are coming on two different ECUs, the wiring and injectors are all OK i can't find any logical explanation for this oddity... o_O

Hence why I’m here as I’m so bloody confused!

Codes are the same for both ecu’s

I might redo the injectors one more time as I have 10 of them and just play pot luck on getting a working set of them

This thread covers a lot of stuff you migth want to look at, from wires chafing through Crank Position Sensor to blocked fuel pump low pressure circuit.

@sierrafery will remember it!

Some time ago now I undid the two inspection panels in the inner wheel arches and went in there to separate all possible rubbing/chafing wires etc and covered them with split hosepipe held in place with cable ties. I was astounded how many I found!

Went through everything on that one, so started this one as my fault seems different

If we assume that the wiring and injectors are OK as the ECU is ruled out 100% and hope that the injector loom was not part of a bad batch from factory the only thing i can guess that might trigger such codes for all 5 injectors is a voltage drop on the ECU's power supply or bad earth to it, use a needle probe and measure with multimeter across the ECU's power supplies (black plug pins 3, 22 and 33) and battery negative then against all the black wires in that plug, it should be the same like on the battery terminals while cranking if the voltage drops that can be a reason ... just grasping at straws now

Thanks mate will give that a try also

Unfortunately i've never been able to find a Td5 ECU internal diagram to know which of those earth wires is for the injector power generator in the ECU that's why you have to check all of them:(
