Bought a while back to future-proof our 1999 Disco 2.

It has been cleaned, shot blasted, Zinc sprayed and then powder coated in semi-gloss black.

Though our Disco could use it now, the job of fitting a quarter chassis is much more attractive, and of course, these chassis sections weren't available those years ago. I'm slipping into P38 ownership and one of our boys will take over the Discovery once we have done the chassis repair and MOT'd it.

It will need trailering away, it's a 4-person lift if you've had your Weetabix.

Am very tempted, will have to have a think about this. Do you know if there are any chassis changes between the '99 and a 2003 Facelift version?

As far as I know, the chassis stayed the same throughout.

It's not that far away, pop over and have a look. I'll get some pictures up as well.

It was from a later car, not a '99.
