i have to replace my drop links on my front anti roll bar on a disco 2
the new ones come without new nuts
can any one tell me what size nuts they are as they are not Metric?

Well i can defo say its not M12 its not even a metric thread????? so back to the drawing board
:crazy_driver:

they will be metric but not a std nut ,suspension parts and brake bolts etc are often a fine thread so that you dont use std nut

I'm just about to replace my Discovery 2's from anti-roll bar drop links. They are quite heavily corroded, but the bottom bolts appears to require a male torx drive. Since I don't have a male torx drive set, I will buy one. Can someone please tell me the size/code number of the torx bit so that I can ensure that the set I buy contains this bit?
Thanks

Take a rubbing of it - I just have a full set.

AS to nuts, what make are there as I have had more than one nut size used on drop links.

Also get HD ones, I managed to snap one!

I'm sure I've had 15mm, 16mm & 17mm nuts on different ARB links over the years.
Some of the threaded studs have had internal hex drive, others 2 flats & yet others with full hex.
There's definitely no "standard" - lol
