I have a 300dti. My wheel arches are starting to sign of rot( normal). I work a lot with grp and fibre based products with work. Is it possible to line the wheel arches with one of these product and still pass an mot?

ROT as in HOLES ? or rot as in RUST ?

Rust. I was thinking cutting the rust strip out and multiple layers of grp and covering the whole wheel arch to protect it

MOT FAIL as far as I'm aware ! the best thing to do is get rid of the rust & cover with FLASH BAND as it's NOT a MOT fail !
ONLY AFTER WELDING ANY HOLES UP !

Surely it depends if it is near the seatbelt mounts .........if the rust is that bad that it is no longer structurally sound..........as these are often the points that do corrode, then I would expect it to be an MOT fail.

Cheers
