I've a 95 D1 300tdi. The central locking (from key in drivers door) used to work fine and lock all the other doors. Now nothing happens to the other doors when I turn the key to lock the drivers side door. Central locking also doesn't work if I lock the drivers door whilst seated there. No fob/remote locking is involved. The drivers door lock is ok as it locks by key ok. I've checked the door lock fuse and that's fine. What and how do I test to see where the fault lies?

I've mislaid my Haynes manual somewhere too.

cheers

If you have a black security ECU u will find there's a micro on the rear of the lock operated via a cam, the cam can break as its plastic or the switch could be faulty.
U need to remove the door card to check.

You could find two micro switches the other one is for use with the immobiliser system.

This is a very very hazy answer .....same thing happened to my Disco 1 , had to take out glove box , there was a box in there with a circuit board in it , took out circuit board ...and it was the smallest piece of solder that had gone , put bolb of solder on ....job was a good one .......( found the way to do it somewhere on here) .......sorry for being so hazy .
