I have lifted my disco 2 td5 2" and also fitted Bronco grizzly claw tyres an now my td5 rocks side to side when driving any idea of the problem as sick of feeling sea sick??
 
I have had the same problem with mine, never resolved until I retro-fitted the Disco to standard coils. The lifts are a hell on road, because the castor problem they cause. The steering is wanderer, an emergency brakage on fast road is dangerous etc.. No more lifts for me. If I ever need a permormant and real 4x4 I will sacrifice the comfort and stability of the Disco (in his standard parameters) and go to a Defender.
 
Adjustable pannard rod on most landy lifts cures it

2" lift on ours, with 31.6" tyres and still with air suspension. No problems at all.

The reduced caster lessens the self centering effect on the steering but at 2" its by no means "dangerous". I would suggest you have some wear in the system that the lift has highlighted.

I am happy with that new, because on y mind, the perfect Disco II config is with 32" . Prior to Disco, I have had a RR Classic with 2" , adjustable panhard, QT castor corrected front arms and rear, double cardan on front and polybushes all around. On road, the same history near the 140 km/h: unstable vehicle, wanderer steering, dangerous on hard braking situations (it leans to the right) and some vibrations due to the angle of the front propshaft. Now I am on 245/75/16 with a HD coil springs that results in a light lift uncharged, and it drives like a dream. All the problems disappeared.
 
It doesn't drive like a boat it's rele aggressive rockin side to side whilst driving, brakes are surprisingly not too bad just feels like I'm riding a horse
