Hi Guys,
Ive just purchaced the OBD2 cable off the bay for use with my RR. Can the same cable be used on my dads disco2? Also is there a place to download any softwear to use to calibratethe suspension? My dad needs to change a ride height sensor but doesnt want to change it and bollox up the suspension settings? I know you can download a program for use with the P38 suspension, just wondered if there is one for the disco's?
Thanks
Rob

AFAIK The disco 2 is a slightly wierd O/S. However, you're on the Wirral, so contact Mike@Dynachip,he's on the Wirral also. He has a Nanocom & can sort your Dad's suspension.
Most times you can change a ride sensor without having to resort to a code reader

Thats great. Will the OBD2 cable work to look at the data from his disco? Where abouts is Mike? Does Mike do engine chipping? My Dad been complaining of quite low MPG and was wondering if something might need tuning.

Yes, Mike does engine re-mapping. Just Google Dynachip.
It's the best money I've spent on my Disco.
His standard re-map gets the turbo coming in @ 1500 rpm thru to 4000+. I get better economy, but can't really say what cos I've got the dreaded leaking fuel pressure regulator, yet to be changed. Engine is a lot smoother,I can now do 30 mph in 5th without juddering & throttle response is amazing.

I 2nd that nothing but good praise for Mike at Dynachip, more MPG and so much smoother with ooodles of power
