Then id say you have a problem with your vehicle, Even with a slightly shagged engine my 110csw pulls away no problem on STEEP hills with a 1.2 on 33's and its loaded up with roof rent, steel roof rack and huuuugggee top box, along with storage drawers etc inside.I had 1.2 with 33 on my 90 nightmare in steep hill start's and fifth became an overdrive, back to a 1.4 not prefect but nice enough.
I've had a 200tdi and disco box with 7.50 tyres for nearly 2 years now. (Was N/A and std box)
Before the change I was in 5th at 30 mph and cruised at 50 on a A road
With a cold engine I now change to 4th at 30 and 5th at 40.
When the engine is hot it will trundle along at 30 in 5th, and I cruise at any speed limit.
The engine is of course quieter at any mph. Plus I'm getting. 32 mpg

7.50 16

Do you know what one was in it? My 90 gets to 55 and I dont want to go any faster because its feels like its reving a bit. I was going to get a Disc one done in the next couple of weeks along with two other things I need to do to him.

cables are adjusted at the pumpThe cable and the pedal are adjustable. I can't remember the full procedure but I'm sure the Haynes or WSM will detail it. I've adjusted it at the pump a couple of times. It's a service item to make sure your accelerator cable is correctly adjusted.
