I have a 2002 disco td5 manual and it drives great and been a god send this week in the bad weather.
It seems to take longer then it should to get from about 35/40mph up to 70mph, also when it hits a steep bank then it gradually drops and end up travelling up about 35/40mph depending what sort of run up it gets.
I have an autologic diagnostic machine so can read all the live data if anyone knows what I should read and check.
It does look like it has had a new/recon turbo on recently.
I have only owned it approximately 4 months so just gradually rectifying all the faults 1 by 1 and apart from my ACE issue that I will tackle when it gets warmer this is the last fault.

See attached for sensor readings. Also check red plug on ECU for oil, as its a common problem that the injector loom gets full of oil and it ends up in the red plug and if allowed to continue, works its way INTO the ECU as well.

Thanks Tony, that’s great I will have a look see if they differ much from the attached document.
I think it could possibly be a few other things but checking the live data is an easy thing to check and I will wait till it warms up abit before I start Fault finding on other things.
I did check the injector loom after I bought it and it did have some oil in the ECU plug so cleaned out and that is on my list to change, again when it warms up.

The other things I think it could be is:
1,Check Fuel pressure
2,Clean fuel pump and change if pressure down
3,fuel filter housing

I will repost when I have got some detail on the live data.

Thanks

I have done some live reading this morning and attached is the results of what they read.

The first 2 pictures are of the revs at approx 3000rpm.

The second 2 are at idle.

looking at the air flow it is reading 4.10 and should be between 55 and 60.

I disconnected the MAF and still read 4.10 is this a default reading when the MAF is goosed?
