Hi all,
my 2001 disco has too have a plate welded on too it, around 15" , I have read that corrosion is common , but are people now having too weld? , or I am I just unlucky.

I have just had my 2000 x reg d2 fully schutz throughout. Mine is solid. Cost me a bit but should make it last. I am suprised yours as rotted so early on in it's life.

I had to weld a hole in a 2003 DII last thursday - purely as a result of the chassis having no paint inside it.......

Mine is solid but its due a waxoyl again to keep rust:5breddevil: at bay its a 1999

Hi , lads I live in Ireland we dont salt our roads as other countries , and the rear of my chassis is starting to rust ( 99 disco 2 ),no oil leaks at the back to save it the shutz is a great job but you still need to keep an eye on things underneath , my brother sprayed the underneath of his car ( renault 5 gt turbo ) with shutz and it still rusted in one place under the shutz
