Hello.

I have a 2003 disco td5. I was driving on a country road with some pot holes and my battery became loose and disconected while i was driving at about 100 km/h.
After reconecting my battery it drove fine for about 2 kms and started loosing power and blowing black and white smoke.
When the car is cool it starts up just fine and runs just fine while its cold, once it gets hot the fault starts and looses all power and when I step on the gas it blow out smoke again.
I took it to the shop and the computer showed #3 injector and had it replaced, for nothing since it has the same issue, runs great when cold but once it gets hot has the issue. We checked the injector loom and the fuel pump form another td5 I have that works and still same issue. Has anyone had this problem? I need help Thanks

We checked the injector loom and the fuel pump form another td5 I have that works and still same issue.

That answers my question sorry. I was going to see if you'd got oil down the loom and into the red ECU plug which can cause misfires.

Have you hooked up a diagnostics unit while its misbehaving? Might be worth comparing cold/hot live readings even if there is no fault recorded.
