I noticed that my disco 300tdi sits noticeably lower at the rear when it has a full tank of fuel. It also has a heavy toolbox and a jerry can in the back, probably weighing around 10 stone in total. Is this normal?

Certainly not. Its not normal in the current economic climate to hve a full tank of fuel.

There are some pretty daft questions that get asked on here!

"I've put weight in my car, it goes down, is this normal?"

Well yes, for the record, that does happen, especially on saggy old springs.

If it wasn't for the simple fact that this is an excuse to post whore, I probably wouldn't have replied! :D

toolbox and fuel can shouldnt make an noticable difference....reckon the springs is shot.
