Hi all been searching through all posts but cant seem to see answer to my question so sorry to bother you all with sumat no doubt already asked lol but will disco 1/2/3 seats fit into my 1985 lr 90 thanx all

Biggest problem with most seat swaps are the seats are to fat so leaving no room for the driver, Im sure Ive read recently subaru ones are meant to be good.
Discos seat are chunky monkeys.

First up, what's wrong with the 90 seats?

Pretty much any seat can be made to fit. You just need to mate seat, to runners to seat box. Or even seats to seat box if you don't want them to move backwards and forwards.

There is a space issue, but you'd have to mock it up to see if you are happy or not first.

Remember 90 seats have a removable seat squab for a reason though. ;)

They fit a treat and are way better than the stock seats - including my mates 2012 XS.

I have a sub under the drivers seat and cap heads to remove in two minutes the passenger seat.

One of the best mods I have done, yesterday I drove for five hours straight without a single moment of discomfort. They raise the seat base height by 60mm or more which gives you a better seat ratio to the wheel (12" in my truck) and the pedals.

Is there still room for the centre seat with Disco outer seats fitted?

I've got a set of discovery seats, I didn't think they'd fit that well but may stick them in now...

Take it you took the armrests off? Did they fit the standard runners?
