Hi people,

Ok first thing, i have noticed that my front passenger wheel seems to be making a slight squeaking noise from time to time and mainly after i have been using brakes alot for example in the city etc.
Does anyone know what it could be??
I just got the Disco undersealed last week so wonder if that has anything to do with it??
Second thing how often should i check coolant level as i bought Disco in june, it had just been serviced and mot'd by dealer so fluid levels were ok i just checked all the fluid levels today and the coolant was near enough empty, i have filled tank to correct level now but just wondering if its a regular thing or not.
My disco has not been overheating so hopefully it has just happened in last few days.

Cheers

Chris

The brakes could be just a sticky piston or brake pad. and as long as the brakes aren't binding (wheel will get hot if it is) it's probably not gonna cause you too many problems.

my disco loses about 1" of coolant each month. just check weekly and top up as required. Check oil filler cap for white emulsion (sign of water in oil) and check for white smoke from exhaust if neither are there then the head gaskets fine.

bout a thousand. I bought it in Jan with 187k on the clock and it's now upto 195k

i bought mine in june for £3000 its an 1996 3.9 v8 auto model, it had only done 56k when i bought it and now has 58k plus it only had one previous owner and FMSH would you say i got a good price?
All i have had to do is buy new spare wheel carrier and get it undersealed.

It's not an exorbitant price to pay is it. I've seen a 97 disco advertised for £4950
