hi all i need help i have a 93 pajero (sorned off road ) now due to dislike ,i am considering spending 15k on a used lanny do i get the td5 or the vogue ,or even the diesel 2.5 I pull a 26 foot caravan as a pastime 5 times a year so i need to get around the 20mpg mark but also at 24 stone weight i need the comfort , i dont do much offroad apart from when bored .. any ideas on which 1 ... it has to be a landrover for image

thanks tony p.s what is the 2,5 rangerover like??????

The RR and the Disco are both capable, but to be honest i would buy the RR, far superior to drive and in the luxury stakes.

The Disco has more head room. Apart from that, just go for the one you like the look of most.

kk the pajero is now history!!!! i got a 4.6 vogue on a 2000 what a lump i am well pleased just returned from a 720 mile round trip with a dredded caravan and it was a dream ... few problems though

1. orange oil substance in drivers footwell ????? not nice to carpet
2. blowing manifold
3. drivers door will noit set ... just bangs when it reaches the top ???

and a happy 14 to 17 mpg when towing not complaining bout that

any ideas on the oil spillage or leakage would be appreciated

if its like thick gloopy rusty water, then its coming out of the heater matrix, if its orange then it could be out of the a/c but then again it could be stale iron bru left over from the previous owner
