Hallo everyone,
I am going overland soon to Marocco for a couple of weeks but later to Asia and South America (2014 and 2016).
I have decided on a Disco TDI late model (could still be pursuaded for a TD5 but want it as uncomplicated as possible - i am not an experienced mechanic myself) but undecided about to get a manual gearbox or automatic gearbox for overland expedition.
I will not do "hard core" offroad with 30 degrees inclines etc (unless I absolutely have to do it to get from A to B). I am more taking it easy expedition looking at the sights etc.
But in case it breaks down assume manual is easier to fix?
Any ideas and thoughts most welcome. Thank you in advance
