Hi im new to all this but thought i would introduce myself on this. i have recently bought myself a 1997 Discovery on a Preg after looking at about 15, my good friend and neighbour helped me find one that wasnt mint but one that needed a bit of welding hear and there, i have had this for about 3 weeks now and now decided to get some of the welding done before the weather drasticly changes. when i bought this i was more interested in the chassis being solid than anything else on the disco and finally found this one, i peeled back the carpet today removed the back seats, removed all the plactics to find my rot. at first it didnt look bad so welded one side but when i started the other side oh it was bad i have took a few photos today of the working progress. im also wanting to know if anyone has replaced the rear inside quarter number 11 photo if searching ALR3789??? and also if anyone can help me upload some photos it would be much appreciated

the welding is getting there now but traveling to pick some steel up on sunday nearly at junction 38 on the m62 i heard a big bang and looked in the mirror and loads of smoke so pulled over and waited 5 min before i looked under the bonnet and when i looked 2 big holes in both sides of the block. so looking for a new block or full engine if anyone is selling one im not the ritchest of people so if anyone can help please pm me
