mantamad i do agree, you get a much better view once the liner is out:)
from your picture you can one of the screws that hold the SR together(bottom left). it was 6-8 of these at the rear that had rusted and started to leak. a small rubber washer added and it now leak free.
parking on slope facing up hill won't allow the gutter to drain because the drain is at the front.
as i said before i do need to reseal the the SR frame to the car but i'm waiting for dryer and warmer days.
p.s for good luck, i resealed around the drain plugs with silcone.;)

That is a good point about facing uphill and not draining!

I must re-seal the outer seal on mine in the spring - can't do any harm!

Mantamad thanks, thats a great reply with the picture, sadly with my Arthritis its to big a job for me so will have to get it done by a garage.

The drain holes exit underneath either side of the gearbox!! Sometimes there is check valves fitted to stop water going up them when wading, they can get blocked too!!

It may be that the previous owner blocked them as this was one way of stoping an inside leak, I had a similar problem and they did this as they believed this to be the cause, but then found the real cause, which was an outside problem.
