Hi i have a 95 model disco 2.5. Some times she wont start when u turn the key but just turn over as if theirs no fuel going to it but if u leave it for a min with the ignition off she'll fire straight up. Also she's started cutting out while i'm driving. Has anyone any ideas what it could be please. P.S it's not the feul pump.
Don't think air is getting into the feul line either as been suffering with this prob for a year now it can go a month without playing up then play up all weekend. Theirs no pattern to when it's going to go?

You say not the fuel pump itself but it could be the stop solenoid or the feed to it.Try running your own feed directly to the solenoid.
