Just thought I would share my disco bed build :)

Removed the seats and carpet

Made a uni strut frame

Just an old wall cabinet on bearing which slides along the runners underneath. And has stops behind so it doesn't push further back than I want it too

It's hinged at about 2 thirds for easy access

Not bad!

Right now I need my rear seats left in, hence why my bed/storage progressed the way it did .. eventually I'll be able to do away with them and make it more permanent and probably more accessible.
 
makita 18v li ion. that kit is the way forward! have you got the angle grinder?? i use mine as much as my impact driver.

yep got grinder aswell but it annoys the **** out of me when the red light keeps coming on and stopping the motor to save the battery,i end up getting the 240v one out
